【禁闻】皮尤民调：中国崛起将是坏事

【新唐人2011年7月19日讯】美国皮尤研究中心日前发表的一项最新调查显示，绝大部
分的西欧人相信中国已经或即将超越美国，同时也有绝大部分国家认为，中国崛起将是
一件坏事。这是什么原因呢？我们来听听美国南卡罗莱纳大学艾肯商学院谢田教授的分
析。

皮尤的行政总裁安德鲁．科赫特在美国《华尔街日报》撰文表示，对中国成为世界"领
先经济强国"这个趋势喝采的人，不是很多。而且根据皮尤的调查显示，很多国家担心
美国的经济力量萎缩，对中国崛起，他们认为是一件坏事。

谢田："假设中国经济赶上美国，它来充当这个角色，中国显然就会把它这个畸形发展
的经济，不公平的贸易，倾销、使用童工、使用奴工、使用关在监狱里的法轮功作为奴
工，低价倾销或者是不顾环境代价盲目生产，或者把大笔的钱投入房地产，让全国阶层
从房地产中赚钱，所有中国经济中的种种弊病、弊端，这种经济生活的毒瘤，实际就会
扩展到全世界。"

不过，谢田教授认为，中国想赶超美国，在50年之内根本就没有可能。

谢田（美国南卡罗莱纳大学艾肯商学院教授）："中国的经济数据基本上都是虚假
的，不光是中国人自己不信，中国的领导层不相信，中国百姓、学者也都不相信。实际
上西方社会现在也没办法取得更准确、更真实的数据，姑且就听之任之，就权把它当真
好了。"

谢田表示，美国在全球的经济中，扮演着平衡和公正的角色，维持着当今世界经济体系
的平衡。如果这个经济秩序被打破，对所有的国家来说，都不是好事。

此外，安德鲁在文章中还指出，除了回教国家，大多数的国家都认为，如果中国的�军
事实力�能够与美国匹敌的话，这将是一件坏事。10个西欧人中，就有八个抱持这个观
点。而皮尤的调查也指出，在英国，这个比例高达71%。

谢田认为，中共在军事实力方面，实际上和美国相差更远。假设中国的军事实能和美国
进行匹敌的话，那肯定是件坏事，因为中共对国际和平会造成很大的危害。

谢田："意味着国际安全秩序也被破坏。按中共向来的做法，它会持续向全世界输出它
的共产主义，输出它的暴力革命。"

谢田指出，中共不仅在"六四"时，对中国人民自己开枪，屠杀自己的人民，也屠杀其他
国家的人民。

所以，他认为，中共军事实力即使达不到与美国抗衡，但只要增加一大截，它可能马上
就会开始对其他国家进攻，对全世界都构成威胁，这也是大多数国家认为中共军力增强
是坏事的主要原因。

Pew's Survey: China's Rise Bad

U.S. Pew Research Center recently released a new survey,showing that most
Western Europeans believeChina has or will soon surpass the U.S.

Meanwhile, most countries believe that China's risewill be a bad thing.
What is the reason for that?Let's hear the analysis of Professor Xie
Tianfrom University of South Carolina Aiken Business School.

Pew's president Andy Kohut wrote in Wall Street Journal,

that not many people are happy about the trend ofChina becoming the world's
leading economic power.According to Pew's survey, many countries are
worriedabout the U.S. economic decline and find China's rise a bad thing.

Prof. Xie Tian (USC Aiken Business School):"Suppose the Chinese economy
catches up with the U.S.'s,China will obviously expand its model to the
whole world,like its deformed economic development, unfair trade,dumping,
use of child labor, use of slave labor,such as Falun Dafa practitioners in
prison,blind production regardless of the environmental costs,huge
investment into and profit from the real estate,and all other drawbacks."

However, Xie Tian thinks it is not possible for Chinato catch up with the
U.S. in the next 50 years.

Prof. Xie Tian: "China's economic figures are all fake.

Chinese people, scholars, and even Chinese officialsdo not believe these
numbers.Actually, even Western society cannot get more accurate data.So
let's assume those are true."

Xie thinks that the U.S. plays the role of balance and fairnessin the
global economy, to maintain today's economy balance.If this economic order
is disturbed, it will affect all countries.

Andy Kohut's article also indicates that most countries,except for the
Muslim ones, think it is badif China's military capability can compete with
the U.S.The data shows that 80% of Western Europeansand 71% of British hold
this view.

Xie thinks that China's military strength is actually far fromthat of the
U.S.If it can match the U.S.,it definitely will cause damage to world peace.

Xie: "It will damage the international peace balance.

To do all according to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP),it'll export
communism and violent revolution worldwide."

Xie points out that the CCP killed not only Chinese duringTiananmen
Massacre, it also kills people of other countries.

Xie thinks that although CCP's military strength cannotcompete with the
U.S. now,if it gets stronger it would attempt to invade other countriesand
to pose threats to the world.This is what causes people to have concerns
aboutthe CCP's military becoming stronger.
